Wales Air Ambulance was formed on St. David’s Day in 2001; a paramedic-led service, operating one helicopter just five days a week. Fast forward nearly 25 years, and the service you see today has evolved into one of the most advanced operations in the UK. Now consultant-led, with four helicopters and a fleet of rapid response vehicles, we deliver 24/7, hospital-standard care to people across Wales, wherever and whenever they need it.
Join us for an evening of celebration with special guests, including –

Tables of ten cost £1,500 and proceeds will help to fund future missions.

Celebrating 25 years
In 2026, we will mark 25 years of the Wales Air Ambulance Charity, and to mark the occasion we will be hosting a spectacular Gala Dinner in June 2026.
As we approach 25 years, we reflect on our great nation. A nation that may be small, but one that is filled with passion and pride like no other. As our anthem states, ‘Mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn annwyl i mi (this land of my fathers is dear to me); this land is dear to us, a land that our teams cover every inch of, so no matter where you are, we’ll be there if you need us. To you, our supporters, thank you for welcoming us into your communities, for making Wales Air Ambulance a part of our country’s heritage and for enabling our Welsh dragons to soar across the country.
The air ambulance service in Wales delivers a world-class service and is the largest of its kind in the UK. This is truly remarkable. Why? Well, we serve a large and diverse geography of just over 8,000 square miles, yet we are funded by a very small but incredibly passionate population base of just over 3 million people.
It’s a great Welsh success story and something we can be proud of.
We are Wales Air Ambulance, and we exist because of you. Cymru am byth!
