Charity Confusion
Wales Air Ambulance is the only air ambulance service based in, and dedicated to, Wales, and attends patients across Wales, from newborns to adults.
In recent years, there has been some confusion around the fundraising activities of a charity called the ‘Children’s Air Ambulance’ (CAA), which also uses the name ‘The Air Ambulance Service’ (TAAS). We regularly receive enquiries from our supporters asking if this charity is connected to the Wales Air Ambulance.
CAA/TAAS is an English-based registered charity and is not connected to the Wales Air Ambulance.
Wales Air Ambulance is the only air ambulance service based in, and dedicated to, Wales, and attends patients across Wales, from newborns to adults.
