Corporate Volunteering
There are many ways you can help us as a volunteer.
As a charity, we rely heavily on the generosity of our volunteers to help us raise funds and support our work across Wales. We welcome individuals and businesses who want to donate their time and skills to help us with various tasks.
We always welcome support and expertise from businesses to lend their time and expertise. Whatever form of volunteering you can offer, whether pro-bono support or forming a cheer station at one of our events, there something for all businesses to get involved with.
Why Should Your Business Encourage Employees to Volunteer for Wales Air Ambulance?
Encouraging employees to volunteer can benefit businesses in many ways, here are just a few:
1. Employee Engagement and Retention:
When employees are given the opportunity to volunteer, they feel a sense of purpose and engagement with their work. This can lead to improved morale, job satisfaction, and retention rates.
2. Improved Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR):
By promoting volunteering among employees, businesses can demonstrate their commitment to social responsibility and community engagement. This can enhance the company’s reputation and help attract customers who value ethical and socially responsible companies.
3. Professional Development:
Volunteering provides employees with the opportunity to develop new skills and gain experience in areas outside of their regular job responsibilities. This can improve their job performance and make them more valuable to the company.
4. Networking:
Volunteering can also provide employees with the opportunity to network with other professionals and potential customers or clients. This can help them build relationships and expand their professional network.
5. Positive Impact on the Community:
Volunteering can make a significant impact on the local community and can help businesses build relationships with local organisations and stakeholders. This can lead to increased goodwill and positive publicity for the company.
Encouraging employees to volunteer can benefit both the employees and the business. It can lead to improved engagement and retention rates, enhance the company’s reputation, provide professional development opportunities, foster networking, and make a positive impact on the community.
