Giving in Memory
In their memory, we continue our mission
Celebrate the life of a loved one by donating to Wales Air Ambulance
Whether your loved one has been directly affected by our work or whether the service we provide represents a cause close to their heart, making a donation in loving memory is a beautiful way for you, your family and friends to celebrate their life and honour them.
There are several ways you can support Wales Air Ambulance in memory of a loved one.
Create an online tribute fund
Despite the unwavering dedication of our crew, there are times when those who need our service sadly do not recover. For those who have lost a loved one and have been affected by Wales Air Ambulance, making a donation in their memory can be a deeply meaningful way to honour their life. Your support helps keep our helicopters in the air and our rapid response vehicles on the road.
Creating an online tribute page is a beautiful way to remember and celebrate the life of someone dear to you. Though they may no longer be with you, they will always remain in your heart.
MuchLoved
Setting up a tribute page with MuchLoved is simple and allows you to fully personalise it. You can share photos, stories, and light a candle in memory of your loved one.
To create your tribute page, just enter your details and select ‘Wales Air Ambulance’ as your chosen charity. You can then share the link with family and friends, allowing everyone to contribute to this special remembrance.

Create an in-memory fundraiser through Facebook
When the unthinkable happens, coming to terms with the loss of a loved one can be incredibly challenging. Finding comfort in honouring their memory through fundraising, and helping people who need our service can be a meaningful way to cope.
Fundraise in their name on Facebook, you can personalise your fundraiser with photos and share with family and friends.
Joseff's fundraiser in memory of his fiancee, Gemma
Gemma Harries, collapsed suddenly in the early hours of the morning on Monday 16 January 2023 after feeling breathless and experiencing chest pains. Soon after, Gemma went into cardiac arrest and received CPR straight away.
The air ambulance attended Gemma, but despite the best efforts of the crew, she passed away at her partner’s home at 10:15am.
“I decided to support the Wales Air Ambulance for my birthday as they do an amazing job, and they are vital for our community! It is the least I can do, and we all need to do what we can to support them”.
“As difficult as it all is, I want to try to make something good out of a horrible situation. People are very kind and generous it is very overwhelming, but I thank everyone who has messaged and donated, it truly does mean the world to me.
“I don’t need to say how different this birthday is going to be, but this will be a celebration in memory of Gemma Harries. She was just beautiful, and I love her to the moon and back.”- Gemma’s partner, Joseff.

The Wales Air Ambulance went above and beyond and put all their amazing effort, love and dedication to our Sam but unfortunately he couldn’t be saved. In honour of his memory, we have been raising money for this amazing charity.
We want to give back to these amazing people
