Retail

Make a lifesaving difference by popping into one of our shops or by shopping online.

Our shops offer a range of good quality affordable clothes, shoes, handbags, kitchenware and houseware and our larger stores and donation centres stock fantastic furniture too.

Our friendly team is always on hand to welcome you and deliver the best shopping experience.

Retail Shops

We have a number of shops across Wales run by Charity staff and an army of volunteers.

Each one stocks a range of great quality items which are donated by our supporters, and not only do they help to raise vital funds, but they provide a sustainable way to shop and help to reduce landfill.

Wales Air Ambulance shops have become favourites with thrifters and fashionistas for the quality and variety that can be found. If you are looking to spruce up your wardrobe, revamp your furniture or buy a gift for a loved one, you’ll be inspired by our range, both in-store and online.

Donate your pre-loved items

Whilst you may no longer wish to wear the coat you bought last winter, or you no longer like your dining table, the odds are someone else will, so why not give them a new lease of life by donating them and transforming them into lifesaving funds.

Donating your pre-loved items is a great way to support our lifesaving work. If you’d like to donate furniture, please speak to our team about our free collection service.

We accept furniture, clothing, books, DVDs, electrical items, other household objects and bric-a-brac. To donate small items, please drop them into your local shop.

If you’re unsure whether we can accept your item, please see the items we cannot below.

Items we cannot accept

Unfortunately, there are some items we can’t accept for health and safety and legal reasons.

The most important consideration when selling furniture and homeware is if an item is flammable. When items do not have a safety label or instructions, we are unable to safely sell them.

  • Donated furniture with unsafe missing parts or damage
  •  Furniture with glass that does not have a kite mark or tempered glass
  • Candles without instructions and safety notice
  •  Duvets and pillows (unless in original packaging)
  • Individual mattresses without a bed frame
  •  Soiled or dirty mattresses
  •  Roller or venetian blinds (unless in original packaging with safety instructions included)
  • Safety helmets: crash, cycle, riding hats
  • Climbing equipment
  • Buoyancy aids, life jackets and inflatable dinghies
  • Mobility items e.g. bath aids

  •  Electric blankets
  •  Sunbeds and tanning equipment
  • Donated white goods and microwaves
  • Personal hygiene items such as shavers and foot spas
  • Any power tools
  • Mobile phones
  •  E-readers

We are unable to accept and sell items which may be unsafe for children and infants.

  • All inflatable armbands and rings worn as floatation aids
  • Toys without a CE mark
  • Nightwear and fancy dress items not labelled as fire resistant
  • Car seats and booster seats
  • Child seats for cycles
  • Cot bumpers, cot mattresses, pram mattresses

We cannot sell dangerous items for legal and safety reasons.

  • Chemical items
  • Any medications
  • Smoking related items, including ashtrays
  • Hot water bottles
  • Any gas or petrol appliances
  • Unsealed cosmetics and toiletries
  • Food or perishables
  • Counterfeit items
  • Military uniforms with names or company branded uniforms

How it works:
