Community Fundraising

Pay in your donations

We are here to support you on your fundraising journey. Whether you’re creating your own event, hosting a Coffee and Cake morning, or donating to Wales Air Ambulance directly, your support will make a lifesaving difference. Are you interested in fundraising within your community? We’ve pulled together some ideas to get you started, or if you have your idea nailed down, let us know and we will support you throughout.

Schools and youth groups

We recognise the importance of reaching out to the doctors, CCPs, pilots and fundraisers of the future – that’s why we want your school to get involved. There’s plenty of ways to support us:

  • Hold a non-school uniform day
  • Go red for Wales Air Ambulance
  • Host a bake sale
  • Dress down day or fancy dress
  • Host a match, whether it’s football, rugby or netball, whatever the match get parents and pupils involved
  • Arts and craft – get creative and sell your crafts
  • Treasure hunt– There is a theme for every season.
  • Teddy bears picnic– Grab a picnic, blanket and your favourite bear and invite your friends.

Groups and clubs

If you’re a part of a group, like the Rotary Club, a sports club, the Women’s Institute or Masonic Lodge, there are lots of ways you can get involved:

  • Organise a gala or ball
  • Hold a collection, we can provide you with everything you need
  • Host a community tournament for bowls, football or any other activity that takes your fancy.
  • Choose us as your charity of the year
  • Run a stall at your local fete – Cakes, toys, drinks and many more.
  • Organise a car or tractor rally 
  • Hold a golf day

Social fundraising

Get together with your friends and family and enjoy a social event whilst making a lifesaving difference.

There are lots of ways to get involved:

  • Organise an event – charity ball, sports event, a festival, concert silent disco, or karaoke, there’s plenty of options
  • Host a dinner party or games night
  • Have a pamper party
  • The bake off, have your own competition
  • Get a team together and plan a sporting match
  • Hold a coffee morning
