Our volunteers are an integral part of the Wales Air Ambulance; they provide additional knowledge, skills and ongoing help that supports the Charity across our functions, whether attending fundraising events in the community, helping in our shops or acting as Trustees.

We would not be able to provide our lifesaving services without our volunteers and we trust that you will enjoy your time with us in whatever capacity that you can help with.

Retail Volunteer

With shops across the whole of Wales, the perfect role is waiting just for you. Become a Retail volunteer and enjoy a variety of activities:

Provide good customer service, such as till operation, taking calls, and receiving donations.
Sort through items before processing them.
Price items and steam relevant items before putting them on the shop floor.
Help merchandise stock to help sales.
Give advice on furniture collections etc.
Sign people up for gift aid when they donate items.
Keep the shop clean, tidy and well stocked.

What can we offer you?

You will receive an initial induction to the Wales Air Ambulance Charity.
A member of staff will become your named contact who will support you and respond to any queries you have.
You will be given the opportunity to visit one of our airbases.
You will be reimbursed for approved expenses and receive a travel allowance.
You will be given relevant training for the role.
You will be part of a great team and make new friends.
