I decided to join the Wales Air Ambulance (WAA) volunteers’ team six years ago. My mum has worked for the Charity for many years and asked if I would like to be involved.

I volunteer in one of the WAA shops and help out a couple of times a week. Some of the ways I help include Gift Aid processing, cleaning, steaming and tagging clothes, as well as helping customers.

Since becoming a volunteer my confidence has grown massively and I have made lots of new friends. I have also developed my computer skills. My favourite thing about being a volunteer is being part of a team and helping Wales Air Ambulance achieve its mission of
saving lives. I would highly recommend becoming a volunteer.
