Volunteer for Wales Air Ambulance

Our volunteers are an integral part of the Wales Air Ambulance; they provide additional knowledge, skills and ongoing help that supports the Charity across our functions, whether attending fundraising events in the community, helping in our shops or acting as Trustees.

We would not be able to provide our lifesaving services without our volunteers and we trust that you will enjoy your time with us in whatever capacity that you can help with.

Don't just take our word for it...

I decided to join the Wales Air Ambulance (WAA) volunteers’ team six years ago. My mum has worked for the Charity for many years and asked if I would like to be involved.

I volunteer in one of the WAA shops and help out a couple of times a week. Some of the ways I help include Gift Aid processing, cleaning, steaming and tagging clothes, as well as helping customers.

Since becoming a volunteer my conﬁdence has grown massively and I have made lots of new friends. I have also developed my computer skills. My favourite thing about being a volunteer is being part of a team and helping Wales Air Ambulance achieve its mission of saving lives. I would highly recommend becoming a volunteer.
