Being involved in a medical emergency or serious accident can change your life drastically. It can be difficult for both a patient and their family. 

If you have received treatment from our crew, the support doesn't end once you reach hospital.

Whether you have unanswered questions, or need someone to talk to, we are here to help you throughout your recovery.

If our crew have been called out to you, you have likely experienced a sudden, traumatic event. You may have no recollection of the incident at all or are left with some upsetting memories. The road to recovery is a difficult process, and everyone's experience is different.

Our Patient Liaison Nurses are here to answer any questions you may have about the treatment you received and can fill in any gaps to help you understand what happened.

The journey can sometimes be stressful and confusing, leaving you feeling a bit lost and unsure about what lies ahead, we are here to help you throughout your recovery.

The recovery process is different for everyone, but it can often take longer than anyone imagines, both physically and psychologically. Here are some of the common problems; 

We have close links with all hospitals throughout Wales as well as some in England. We have access to a network of support services which includes allied health professionals as well as non-NHS support organisations that we can signpost you too. We also have access to a wide range of information resources about a variety of conditions and different aspects of recovery.
