Staff from an estate agency in Wales took the plunge in a cliff-top abseil in aid of Wales Air Ambulance.

Staff from various Dawsons’ estate agent offices across South-West Wales completed the challenge on Wednesday October 25, raising £1314.98 for the helicopter charity.

The event, which took place on the picturesque Gower coast, saw the team abseil down a sea-facing cliff on the outskirts of Port Eynon.

Dawsons Lettings Dept Coordinator Naomi Webborn said: “We were so nervous about the abseil but as soon as we were on that rope the adrenaline kicked in and it was so much fun.

“We are very proud as a team to have completed this challenge and raise money for Wales Air Ambulance at the same time. A huge thanks to everyone who has kindly sponsored us and raised such a large amount”.

WAA community fundraising coordinator Steffan Anderson-Thomas said: “We’re very grateful for the money Dawsons has raised to help keep our helicopters flying.

“It was really inspiring to see the Dawsons team brave the dizzying, cliff-top heights! Every step they took down that cliff is going to make a difference to lives in Wales”.
