Raising millions of pounds each year isn’t an easy task, but our amazing fundraising team at the Wales Air Ambulance work hard all year round to make sure we do just that.
Whether you need advice on how to organise an event or need support with materials, our fundraising team are here to help.
There are five main campaigns/income streams (not including retail) that makes up our Fundraising Team. They are:
Community - Community is classified by the money raised by individuals and groups that are part of their local community in Wales. Examples include Golf Clubs, Tractor Runs, Collection Boxes, Mass Events, etc.
Corporate - Corporate income is from direct donations, partnerships, or charity of the year income from larger corporate entities or those with the propensity to give over £5,000.
Individual Giving - Income received directly from an individual either in response to an appeal, in memory of a loved one, or as a regular donor. This includes major donor stewardship and engagement.
Lottery - Individuals who support the charity by playing our Lifesaving Lottery for at least £1 per week in return for a chance to win the £1,000 jackpot weekly. This is our largest income stream which brings in over £7 million per annum.
Legacy - Our largest growth area, legacy income is from individuals who have left a gift in their Will to us.
