WALES AIR AMBULANCE REMEMBERS ALUN DAVIES

Wales Air Ambulance is fondly remembering a member of the fundraising team who has sadly passed away after a short illness.

Alun Davies aged 60, who worked on behalf of Wales Air Ambulance since 2001 sadly passed away on the 28th of May.

Alun will fondly be remembered as a member of the charity’s fundraising team, helping to raise vital funds to sustain the service.

Wales Air Ambulance chief executive officer, Angela Hughes said: “We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of our dear friend and colleague Alun Davies. We send our sincerest condolences to his family at this most difficult time. Alun was a much-loved member of staff at the charity who will be missed by so many. He will be remembered not only for his dedication but also for his kindness and sense of humour.”

Alun was a familiar face to many due to not only his association with Wales Air Ambulance but also as a county councillor for the Saron Ward in Carmarthenshire.
