On Sunday, Wales Air Ambulance will observe two minutes silence in memory of the fallen. This past week, Wales Air Ambulance crews and helicopters have displayed the poppy as a symbol of solidarity and respect.

WAA Pilot Capt Grant Elgar spent 23 years serving in the military and finds this time of year particularly poignant.

Grant said; “It is important to pause and remember those who have given their lives yesterday for our today. We stand in solidarity with everyone on this important day. Lest we forget”.
