In addition to the concert, they held an auction, a raffle and received gift contributions from local business’.

Choir Treasurer Trystan Edwards said: “We would like to thank everyone who attended the concert and helped us raise such a large amount for such worthwhile causes.

“We decided to donate £3,000 to Wales Air Ambulance as they provide an essential service to our area. We understand just how important they are to our remote location.”

WAA Fundraising Manager Lynne Garlick said: “We would like to thank the choir for choosing to support us. The money raised will help fund our lifesaving missions across Wales and keep our helicopters flying.”
