A South Wales based company donated three large bags of Easter eggs to the Wales Air Ambulance crew to show their gratitude for their ‘fantastic work’.

Medics from the charity were delighted to receive the generous donation from Gavin Griffiths Group, during the Easter period.

An Easter bunny was on hand to deliver the eggs, which were transported to the Wales Air Ambulance headquarters, in Llanelli, via one of the company’s trucks.

This is the first year that the local company, which has sites in Swansea and Cwmgwili has donated Easter eggs, although they have supported the lifesaving charity in the past.

Gavin Griffiths, Group Managing Director, said: “As a business, we are delighted to be able to support Wales Air Ambulance and their staff by providing some Easter eggs for them as a thank you for all their fantastic work.”

Speaking of the vital service the Wales Air Ambulance provide 24/7, Gavin, said: “The Wales Air Ambulance is vitally important and a crucial service to us in Wales. What the team and all those involved do to provide the service is incredible.”

Jane Griffiths, the Charity’s South Wales Community Fundraiser, said: “Thank you to Gavin Griffiths Group, for donating three huge bags of Easter eggs to the Wales Air Ambulance staff. The medics provide a 24/7 lifesaving service to the people of Wales and it is wonderful when people thank them for their efforts. The Easter bunny and truck of eggs certainly put a smile on the Wales Air Ambulance’s staff faces. It was a wonderful gesture.”
