An eleven-year-old girl from North Wales is proving that age is no object after successfully scaling Snowdon.

Angelina Lannon, originally from Scotland recently tackled the Welsh peak, raising money for Wales Air Ambulance.

Wales Air Ambulance Community coordinator Medwyn Hughes said: “We would like to congratulate Angelina on her achievement. Tackling Snowdon as an adult is a quite a feat so to have successfully completed it at just eleven years old really is something to be proud of.”

In support of Angelina’s challenge, an incredible £840.86 was raised in aid of the helicopter charity.

Medwyn added: “We would like to say huge thank you to Angelina for choosing to support our charity. The money raised from her challenge will help us to continue our lifesaving work across Wales.
