Volunteer for Wales Air AmbulanceOur volunteers are an integral part of the Wales Air Ambulance; they provide additional knowledge, skills and ongoing help that supports the Charity across our functions, whether attending fundraising events in the community, helping in our shops or acting as Trustees. We would not be able to provide our lifesaving services without our volunteers and we trust that you will enjoy your time with us in whatever capacity that you can help with. . . . "Our volunteers are the backbone and the heart of our Charity, they help us to achieve our goals and they are fundamental in raising the funds which enable us to save lives across Wales. We are proud to work with a diverse team of volunteers who bring a range of skills and experience and who support us to carry out our vital work. We hope that you will find your time with us to be enjoyable and rewarding, and that you will feel part of our committed team." . . . We at Wales Air Ambulance are dedicated to providing a life-saving service to the whole country. We cannot do this without you, our loyal band of volunteers. In these uncertain times, we would like to extend our gratitude for your continued support. Your contributions have helped to support the life-saving missions our helicopter crews have provided over many years. In accordance with government guidelines, we have had to make the difficult decision to suspend outdoor fundraising events and close our shops for the foreseeable future. This decision was not taken lightly, and we are fully aware of the impact this has had on your volunteering. Please be assured that we will return to normal fund-raising activities as soon as it is safe to do so. We, of course, continue to support the vital medical work of our helicopter crews, who are still operating missions during the pandemic. Meanwhile, please keep us in touch with your news and updates. Either contact me at [email protected] or your relevant shop manager or coordinator. Please could you also send us your contact details – especially email address – to ensure we have the most up-to-date information for you when we need to get in touch. Finally, we wish you and your loved ones the best of health, and hope to see you very soon. Learn more about National Volunteer's Week.
