A successful terrier and dog racing event held at Cresselly House has raised £218 for the Wales Air Ambulance.

The popular event was attended by local members of the community and their beloved pets at the 18^th century stately home in the Pembrokeshire countryside.

The Wales Air Ambulance’s Campaigns Manager, Katie Macro, was delighted to be invited to Cresselly House where she was presented with the cheque of £218 from Emma Sutton, Michael Bolton, Ros Beck and Hugh Harrison-Allan.

Katie Macro said: “Thank you so much to Cresselly House who held the terrier and dog racing event in aid of our lifesaving charity. We are very grateful for this donation.

“We regularly attended life and limb-threatening emergencies in Pembrokeshire. Donations like this are vital and we know how important our service is, particularly for rural areas. By keeping our helicopters in the air we can continue to take the emergency department to the patient, saving time and saving lives.”
