How to leave a gift in your Will

How to write your will

If you haven't made a Will, or have not even thought about it take a look at our simple steps to see what you will need.

Once you have read through these steps and are ready to start writing your Will, we also provide a free writing service.

Leaving a gift to Wales Air Ambulance in your Will makes such a difference, it ensures we can continue saving lives.

You can also download our step by step guide, or if you have already made a Will but wish to make some amendments such as deciding to leave a gift you can do so by filling out this codicil form; there is no need to redo your Will.

 

Step 7 - Help us to say thank you

Your Will is personal but if you have chosen to leave a gift to us we would love to be able to say thank you. By emailing [email protected] we can let you know how your gift is going to make a difference.

Step 6 - Visit your solicitor

You're now ready to visit a solicitor to have your Will drawn up. Your solicitor will keep a copy of your Will, but you might also like your own copy. Keep it in a safe place, and tell someone close to you where you have put it. You can also use our Free Will Writing Service.

Step 5 - Inheritance tax

Step 3 - Choose your executors

Expand

Executors are the individuals responsible for ensuring your wishes are carried out, you name them in your will.

You can appoint whoever you would like, but ask them first as it can take time. You can also appoint a professional, like a solicitor or accountant, but your estate will need to pay their fees.
