Flowers of Remembrance

Losing a loved one is never easy, but honouring their memory by supporting Wales Air Ambulance is a positive and meaningful way to remember them.

Choose to celebrate the life of your loved one by adding their name to our bespoke, beautifully designed, Forget-Me-Not castle.

We are proud to be hosting Swansea's first ever Wild in Art Trail, where the streets will be decorated with over 30 large castle sculptures, all sponsored by businesses except our very own Charity castle - The Forget-Me-Not.

The Forget-Me-Not castle has been designed by Pembrokeshire artist, Diana R Brook, who will hand paint your loved one’s name on the petal of a forget-me-not flower.

The petite and delicate flower is traditionally associated with remembrance as well as love and friendship which is why we felt was this was the perfect flower to commemorate your loved ones.

Our castle will be on display in Swansea City Centre throughout the trail, before being moved and displayed outside the Wales Air Ambulance base in Dafen, Llanelli.

The perfect tribute

To add the name of your loved one costs £50 per name and you will receive:

  • Your loved one’s name painted on our Forget-Me-Not Castle
  • A Thank You card
  • Forget-me-not seeds for you to pay your own tribute at home
  • The name of your loved one on a plaque situated on the base of the castle
  • The name of your loved one on our Forget-Me-Not web page at walesairambulance.com

Your loved one's name can be purchased from Monday 30 January to Monday 11 April 2023, however we only have limited space. Therefore we may need to end purchasing before Monday 11 April.

By adding your loved one’s name, you are adding a new chapter to their story, and their memory will live on in our work.
