1. How long have you worked with Wales Air Ambulance?
I joined the WAA team in February 2015.

2. Have you always wanted to be a pilot?
Wales
My uncle was a helicopter engineer for a North Sea operator in Aberdeen. When I was about 8 years old I had the chance to fly a real S61 flight simulator (which was used for training North Sea pilots). This is when I got the flying bug.

3. What does it mean to you to fly for WAA?
Wales

Being a Welshman, for me, there’s no greater privilege than being the managing pilot for Wales.  My dream was always to fly for the WAA and utilise my flying skills and experience, helping people when they most need us.

4. If you weren't a pilot, what would you be?
Wales

I hope I would still be involved in aviation in some way.  Perhaps a different type of management role?

5. When and where did you do your training?
Wales

I trained as a civilian pilot (helicopter and aeroplanes) and began my career in Florida as a flying instructor.
