Four & a half years in Wales but I flew previously for Midlands Air Ambulance and Great North Air Ambulance.

2. Have you always wanted to be a pilot?

I originally wanted to be a helicopter engineer but I soon went off the idea when I realised that being a pilot was way more fun!

3. What does it mean to you to fly for WAA?

It's a privilege to be able to deliver highly skilled medical teams to patients across Wales and to then be able to rapidly transport these patients to definitive care. The time we save and the care we provide is essential for the people of Wales.

I am a civilian pilot - I've been flying for over 20 years in a variety of helicopters, but the new WAA H145 is obviously my favourite!
