Welsh opera singer Rhys Meirion is helping to raise vital funds for Wales Air Ambulance by releasing a duets album.

‘Deuawdau Rhys Meirion 2’ is a follow up from his first duet album and features a collection of performances from his S4C TV show.

The album contains songs with several Welsh performers, including Lleuwen Steffan, Daniel Lewis and Elin Fflur.

Rhys said: “It is a pleasure to be able to support Wales Air Ambulance, a charity I hold very close to my heart and provides a vital service”.

WAA Fundraising Manager Lynne Garlick said: “We would like to thank Rhys for his unwavering support. It means so much to us as a charity. The money raised will help keep our four helicopters flying lifesaving missions across Wales”.

Proceeds from the album will be split between Wales Air Ambulance and Elen’s Fund in memory of Rhys’ sister.
