A swing trio has been in fine voice helping to raise money for Wales Air Ambulance.

The Well-Seasoned Trio comprised of Mel, Ian and Paul have long supported the helicopter charity and have helped raise over £6,000.

The South Wales swing singers perform various concerts, with all proceeds being donated to Wales Air Ambulance.

Well-seasoned trio member Paul Brandon said: “We just love performing. When the group was first set up we all agreed that Wales Air Ambulance would benefit from any money raised. We get a lot of enjoyment out of performing especially whilst supporting such a worthwhile cause.”

Wales Air Ambulance Fundraising Manager Paul Canning said: “We would like to say a massive thanks to the well-seasoned trio for their continued support. To raise as much as they have is a true reflection of how entertaining and likable they are.”

The trio has several catchy classics in their repertoire ranging from Frank Sinatra to Dean Martin and even a slice of contemporary Jazz. Paul Brandon added: “It’s an enormous pleasure to be able to support Wales Air Ambulance through our love of Jazz and Swing. We have a number of gigs planned for later this year and hope people will come along and enjoy the atmosphere whilst supporting this very important charity.”
