There are only a few days to go until Narberth and Whitland Rotary’s Autumn concert starring Richard and Adam and Côr Meibion Hendygwyn/Whitland Male Voice Choir to be held at 7pm next Saturday the 9th October, at the Follies Theatre, Folly Farm.

Tickets were selling well but sadly when news of the petrol crisis broke ticket sales dried up and whilst the Club are pleased to say all costs have been met they would love to be able to sell more tickets to allow them to make a good donation to the Wales Air Ambulance Charity. To do that they need more people to go, and would love it if you and your friends are able to join them.

Club President Elaine Bradbury said “Thankfully the petrol situation is now resolving itself and we are also delighted to confirm that this event meets all the latest Covid Guidance from the Welsh Government and meets all the criteria. There is no need for a Covid Pass.

“This is a fully seated event with the capacity reduced to allow plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the concert safely and in comfort. We are pleased to announce that our risk assessment has been acknowledged and accepted and includes extra measures including air extraction and fresh air intake, a one-way system etc.”

Elaine continued, “It's been a long time since our last concert, and we can fully understand some might be nervous but you can be assured that we have done everything we can to create a safe environment for you to safely enjoy what promises to be an unforgettable event.

“Whitland Male choir have been rehearsing well, - twice a week and are sounding great, Richard and Adam are delighted to get their tour back on the road, and we are also very pleased to be giving an opportunity for three Pembrokeshire young musicians the opportunity to perform at such a prestigious event. Carys Underwood of Narberth on the Marimba, singer Phebe Salmon of Dinas Cross, and Soprano Ffion Thomas from North Pembrokeshire all have some great pieces prepared for you. We would be delighted to see you there.”
