This year’s Royal Welsh Show is set to be another series of amazing events, shows and food, showing the best of Wales – and Wales Air Ambulance is joining the exhibits again this year!

Wales Air Ambulance will be joining the stands at the renowned Welsh show, helping to raise donations and awareness for the service.

The Welsh helicopter charity attended the show last year, raising valuable donations to help raise the £6.5million needed every year to fund its services.

Helen Pruett, Wales Air Ambulance Community Coordinator, said: “Last year we received amazing support from the people at the Royal Welsh Show, raising almost £3,000 to help fund our missions.

“This year we have a new stand, which can be found at number C192. Come and see us at our new stand to help us fund our missions across Wales.

“As a charity, we rely on kind donations to keep our helicopters flying across Wales, and our stand at the show helps us raise vital funds.

“Our helicopters can be anywhere in Wales within 20 minutes and can reach rural areas which land ambulances would struggle – meaning that we provide support for the farming community of Wales.”

The three-day show runs between the July 24 and 27, showcasing the cream of Welsh livestock and the high-quality food and drink produced in Wales.

WAA’s stand in the showground will have loads to offer, including activities, furniture, clothes and children’s toys.

This year’s stand will give Wales Air Ambulance supporters the opportunity to have a ride in a mock Wales Air Ambulance helicopter.

Helen said: “This year our marque is filled with WAA related activities, a mock Wales Air Ambulance helicopter and discover how you can support us.

“By popping by our new stand at number C192, you will be helping to save lives across Wales.”
