One of the first things you will want to decide is how you want to collect sponsorship, here are a couple of ideas:

Sponsor form

How about the trusty sponsor form? It includes a Gift Aid option, this allows charities to claim 25p for every £1 that you donate. Please ensure you enter the full details.

If you choose to use one of our sponsor forms, please contact [email protected]  and let us know what you are doing; we will then send you a t-shirt and other fundraising materials that will help.

JustGiving and other online giving platforms

Setting up a JustGiving page is the quickest and easiest way to let people know you’re raising money. Visit https://www.justgiving.com/waa and follow the instructions to set up your own fundraising page.

Text-to-donate

JustGiving offers a personalised JustTextGiving code  , this means that anyone can sponsor you by simply sending a text. It’s great for on-the-go donations.

Facebook

Do you love using social media? Facebook have now made fundraising through your own page simple and easy. All you need to do is follow this link https://www.facebook.com/fundraisers/, share your story and enter a fundraising goal - then just sit back, and watch the money come in.
