Air Base Challenge (ABC) Wales Cyclosportive

Take up the Air Base Challenge in support of Wales Air Ambulance! This unique charity cycle challenge will take you through the diverse and beautiful Welsh countryside, stopping off at each of the Wales Air Ambulance Air Bases to help raise funds for the lifesaving charity.
Organised by Merlin Cycle Tours in aid of Wales Air Ambulance, the challenge can be completed over two or three days covering the length and breadth of Wales. The route will take you on a fantastic journey through the peaks of Snowdonia, Berwyn mountains and the Brecon Beacons, as well as through flat and undulating border counties.
This event is not for the faint-hearted and entrants who do not have long distance cycle experience are advised to undergo an appropriate amount of training in advance.

Three day event:
- Day One 82 miles
- Day Two 72 miles
- Day Three 58 miles
Two day event:
- Day One 82 miles
- Day Two 130 miles
· Each tour is limited to 12 entrants who will be supported by two course vehicles on hand throughout to carry all your equipment. We will also provide full mechanical backup, spares, including full bikes and hydration etc to keep you rolling.
· Due to limited numbers the event will be held 2 or 3 times a year. Please contact us for information on dates and availability.
